Hi, I’m ARENA.

Actually my full first name is Arena del Mar…yes it literally means “Sand of the Sea”. I have my mom to thank for such a name. I have spent the past decade immersed in the world of healing, spirituality, and wellness. I am passionate to share what I have learned with you. I hope that I can play some small role in your healing journey. Sound and music played a critical role in my healing journey after developing an autoimmune disease following the birth of my first daughter 6 years ago. Music with solfeggio frequencies became the most effective way to calm my body and my nervous system and re-wire the stress responses that my body had become accustomed to. Often our nervous system reacts through “muscle memory” and we can get stuck in “fight or flight” mode. I discovered sound healing through singing bowls as a way to reach a deeper more restorative state of meditation. This was a critical tool in my healing toolbox. Sound healing is a form of restorative meditation and relaxation method that taps into something that is deeply a part of us, our vibration, our frequency, and our energy.

Most importantly, whatever you are going through mind, body, and spirit, I want you to know that you are not alone.

I was born in Paraguay but moved to the U.S. when I was 7 years old. During the week, I am an instructor at the University of Alaska Fairbanks in the business school and program director for the new Master of Healthcare Management. I have a Master’s degree in Public Health from Yale University.
